​My name is Sam, founder and creator of Calm with Sam. I'm a highly sensitive, calm, kind, empathetic, reassuring, encouraging and a heart led person.

At Calm with Sam my vision is to teach adults Therapeutic Breathwork techniques and educate about Functional Breathwork Wellbeing.
​
Specialising in reducing and relieving stress, anxiety and chronic conditions. All of which I have first hand experience with over the last 20 years and would like to share what I have learnt to help you aid a better balance in your life.

Based primarily at the stunning purpose built Designed Pilates Studio, hosted by Owner Lisa. Situated in the Village of Conington near Sawtry, Peterborough.

Absolutely delighted to say that I will be delivering all CALM, CLEAR and CONNECT Breathwork classes in-person at this incredible studio. It really is a stunning example of Scandinavian Hygge and the perfect calming environment to come together and practice Breathwork!!

More About Me....
Qualified Diagnostic Radiographer since 2012, I have been a Senior MRI Radiographer for over 10 years. A particular area of interest is my patients experience and wellbeing. I have exceptional experience, qualities and skills in aiding nervous, anxious and claustrophobic patients.
My Journey....
Diagnosis of Autoimmune Conditions
Diagnosed with two autoimmune conditions. The symptoms I can experience are chronic fatigue, widespread pain, headaches, brain fog, irregular sleeping patterns and IBS to name just a few. The biggest cause of my flare ups are stress and anxiety, which when I struggle to balance can render me completely off my feet with my mental health also suffering significantly.
Holistic Journey
The last 10 years particularly, have been anything but easy trying to learn about my conditions, how to balance them as well as having to deal with multiple traumatic events from the past and present.
My holistic journey to self discovery has been lengthy and I'll just add an ongoing one. It has included several modalities such as a Stress Control Course, Counselling, Pilates, Meditation, Mindfulness, Chiropractic Care, Breathwork, Sound Healing and Reiki.

The holistic approach suits me well, mostly as it sits well with my personality, character and mindset.​
Breathwork and Creating Calm with Sam
Breathwork has been pivotal for me on my holistic journey. When the opportunity arose to train as a Breathe Instructor I knew immediately it was something I had to do. Now a qualified Breathe Instructor I've created Calm with Sam so I can share what I have learnt with everyone.
